Félix Gosselin

Head Coach

GROUPE ÉLITE

Félix has over 15 years of experience teaching competitive and recreational swimming at the Pointe-Claire Swimming Club (PCSC). He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Concordia University and a certificate in sports studies from Cégep John Abbott. He has Certified status for NCCP levels 1 and 2 in swimming. He is currently studying to acquire his NCCP 3 - Senior Coach.

As Head Coach, Félix directly trains our Elite swimmers and supervises all coaches with the aim of improving technique, speed, endurance and race strategy.

Felix adds: “I want to provide an opportunity and create a constantly challenging and enjoyable environment for athletes to develop the proper technique, skills, habits and work ethic so that they can be their best. My goal is not only to help my athletes perform and excel in the pool, but also to have them take what they learned as athletes and apply it beyond the sporting setting. "

Tarek Souissi

GROUPE D’ÂGE 1 (GA1)

Tarek started in the world of swimming at a young age, actively competing and developing a passion for the sport. He then continued his studies in physical education and sport science at university level, where he completed a Master's degree in physical education, specializing in swimming for the sports training component.

He has worked as a coach at several swim clubs, gaining valuable experience working with swimmers of all levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors. 

His desire to help others improve their swimming skills led him to certify his NCCP 201 in swimming, focusing on techniques, physical preparation, and injury prevention.

As a coach, he designs programs for swimmers, with a focus on technique, fitness and mental development. He is committed to creating a positive and encouraging training environment, promoting personal growth and optimal performance.

Erica Kwizak

GROUPE ESPOIR

After having started as a competitive swimmer, Erica later branched out into elite artistic swimming and then elite water-polo. She was part of the teams that won the Canadian Championships in both sports and trained under 3 Olympic-level coaches in her career. 

She has a vast knowledge in flexibility training, nutrition, and injury prevention, which benefits all the swimmers of the club. She is certified NCCP Level 1 in both fields of swimming and artistic swimming.

She loves passing on her knowledge and experience to the next generation. She loves seeing children progress and gain self-confidence through sport and loves providing a positive bully-free environment for kids away from school.

Hardy Song

GROUPE D’ÂGE 2 (GA2)
et RESPONSABLE ÉCOLE DE NATATION

At 21 years old, Hardy has been swimming with the CNSL since 2012 and thus holds the record for longevity with the CNSL! 

He is currently the coach of the Age 3 group, in addition to swimming assiduously with the Elite group, a group with which he has been training for 8 years already. A seasoned breaststroker, he holds several club records in breaststroke and long distance. He has proudly represented the CNSL at numerous provincial and national level competitions, in addition to being co-captain of the CNSL delegation at the three recent Team Championships.  

In terms of educational background, he attended Jean-de-Brébeuf in high school, then Vanier College in social sciences and is currently completing his final year in Airline Transport Pilot License Certification. He is NCCP Level 1 certified.

Aside from swimming, Hardy is very active: he enjoys cycling in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. At the end of his swimming career, he would like to do a lot of volunteer work to give back to the community what has been given to him over the years.

GROUPE D’ÂGE 4 (GA4)

Jason, 20, is a full-time student at École Polytechnique de Montréal in software engineering. 

On the swimming side, he has been a competitive swimmer for about ten years, the vast majority of which spent at the CNSL. Some highlights of his swimming career include a few Provincial Age Group Champion titles in the 100m breaststroke and 200m breaststroke, a bronze medal at the Jeux du Québec as well as two finals at the Canadian Junior Championships, also in breaststroke.

Eileen Mu

GROUPE DAUPHINS

Eileen has been swimming with the CNSL since 2017. Having acquired strong leadership skills and significant experience with young people, Eileen is certified and worked as a day camp counselor during the summers of 2022 and 2023.

Outside of swimming, she has been playing volleyball for several years and is part of a school team and a volleyball club.

Eileen would like to share the valuable experiences and knowledge she has gained from her various coaches with her younger swimmers. She aims to inspire, motivate, and help them develop their swimming skills. Through her commitment, she aspires to be a positive role model and create a sense of community among young swimmers, while sharing her passion for the sport.
